Good RPG game for PSP (with good character customization)?

I'm looking for a good RPG game for my PSP. It should be shell shaded/retro/anime style graphics, epic story, GOOD character customization and many items. (And many cool monsters of course!) And please, no "RPGs suck on PSP" (etc.) answers. Help is appreciated! :)
