What's North Korea been up to?

When there was that Incident with the South Korean island being shelled, the news was all about how war was inevitable and stuff. Now it seems Kim and the gang has went back into their cave to rub his hands together and menacingly cackle as he plans the demise of democracy. Are there any updates at all? It's disappointing really, I feel as if my favorite soap opera has been canceled.
