Help--skype keeps crashing?

I am having the exact same problem on my Mac for the last few hours. I tried calling a friend who is visiting China, and decided to use the skype dial pad. After dialing the numbers, the system hung for awhile then crashed. Haven't been able to load Skype since. Have tried re-installing it, but no-go. However we have another Mac in the house, and it works fine. So I don't know. Tried Andreblogs answer above but I don't have AppData on my system.
