How do i become the best car salesman?

so i just got offerd a new job at ford im on my 2nd week but i want to be better then the guys thats been doing this for 10 years and is making 6 digets, so im outgoing and ive been told that this is important, but i want to know good stratagys to make a good sale. ive heard people i work with say stuff like i sold cars to people who didnt come in wanting to buy and they sold car colors to people who didnt want that color how do i do that? they wont tell me because im the new guy lol.
