What's going on with Tokyo-Pop?

I received and email saying Tokyo-Pop was going offline....now is this permanent and if so why? And what is going on to make all this happen? And what of Tokyo-Pop Japan, is it still staying up. Last but not least what of top exec. Stu what's happening with him or is that unknown and does it have anything to do with America's greatest Otaku?
