My 98 Lincoln Town Car Exec was working just fine and now the ignition is locked up... Any ideas?

You can't turn the key, you can't turn the steering wheel... we have tried rocking it, we have tried messing with the gear shifter... Does anyone have any more ideas to how to fix this or what is causing it??? Please help thanks!!!
